Dohrn is currently seeking a Recruiter at our Corporate office in Rock Island, IL.

  • Review Candidate Applications to ensure they are complete
  • Set up approval process for applicants
  • Send requests for Verifications of Employment
  • Set up pre-employment testing appointments for new candidates
  • Open and Close Requisitions as needed
  • Place and maintain advertisements and social media marketing
  • Answer applicant inquiries in relation to the applicant tracking system
  • Send rejection letters to applicants as needed
  • Answer employee inquiries related to but not limited to employment and benefits-related questions
  • Enter and maintain data in multiple data bases and HRMS software system
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation 
  • Create advanced reports and analyze data
  • Create & maintain personnel files in compliance with laws
  • Draft and design written communication and company postings
  • Assist and actively participate in meetings as required
  • Attend Career Fairs
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Manage multiple duties simultaneously
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Valid Driver License
  • 2 years of Administrative experience or combination of education and experience in Human Resources, Business or other related fields in an administrative support role
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to successfully navigate multiple computer systems
  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively
  • Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent attendance
  • Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time 
  • May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects   
  • The general office environment is favorable;  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc; 
  • Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
  • Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
  • Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information;  May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others
